Ambassador of Turkmenistan met with medical students in Minsk
A warm meeting of Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Minsk Nazarguly Shagulyev with Turkmen students of the university took place at the Belarusian State Medical University. The event was dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as a significant date - the 30th anniversary of the country's permanent neutrality.
Before the ceremonial part, Ambassador Shagulyev held a constructive conversation with rector of BSMU, Professor Sergei Rubnikovich. The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of fruitful cooperation in the fields of education and science. Particular attention was paid to the quality of the educational process for Turkmen students, their living conditions in Belarus and the prospects for further deepening of cooperation between the educational institutions of the two countries. Representatives of the rector's office, the faculty of the university, numerous students and employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan took part in the ceremonial event. Opening the meeting, Vice-Rector for International Relations of BSMU Professor Vasily Rudenok and Ambassador Nazarguly Shagulyev delivered welcoming speeches.
In his address, the Ambassador emphasized the significant socio-economic, scientific, educational and socio-political transformations that have taken place in Turkmenistan over the years of sovereign development, aimed at ensuring the well-being of the people. Having particularly noted the peaceful foreign policy pursued by the President of the country, he spoke about large-scale plans and programs aimed at improving the standard of living and creating favorable conditions. The diplomat recalled that the current year marks the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality, which is of particular importance for the country and its international positioning.
Ambassador Shagulyev also held an important conversation with students, focusing on the formation of high moral qualities in the younger generation, a sense of patriotism, and harmonious development of the individual, which plays a key role in the training of qualified specialists capable of making a worthy contribution to the prosperity of Turkmenistan and strengthening its authority in the international arena. During the meeting, thematic videos prepared by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus were presented to the audience.
