Chairman of Pakistan Senate to hold meetings in Turkmenistan

Chairman of the Senate (upper house of the Parliament) of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has left for Turkmenistan on an official visit.
He is visiting Turkmenistan on the invitation of the Chairman of the Majlis of Turkmenistan, the Pakistan Television Corporation reported.
The purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Turkmenistan. During the visit, important issues will be discussed, including the intensification of exchange of parliamentary delegations.
During his stay, Yousuf Raza Gilani will hold high-level meetings, the report noted.
