«EXPO-2025» in Osaka: Conference on the role of Turkmenistan's Neutrality in strengthening peace and trust
On May 30, 2025, a conference was held in the national pavilion of Turkmenistan at the World Exhibition «EXPO-2025» in Osaka. It was dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan, teachers and students of Turkmen universities (via video link), as well as representatives of the Organizing Committee of the World «EXPO-2025» and public organizations of Japan.
Participants emphasized the importance of peace, trust and global cooperation, as well as the role of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality in expanding international relations.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Japan A. Bayramov noted Turkmenistan's efforts to promote peace, sustainable development and global cooperation in the international arena, based on the policy of neutrality.
Representatives of Japan, in turn, emphasized that the events at «EXPO-2025» in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality are an important platform for promoting Turkmenistan's policy aimed at strengthening peace and trust.
