Ashgabat International Airport launches in-flight entertainment media platform for passengers
Ashgabat International Airport has implemented a new information and entertainment system, accessible via its internal Wi-Fi network. This initiative is part of Turkmenistan's ongoing modernization of its transport infrastructure, as reported by the "Turkmenhowayollary" Agency.
Passengers can now access multimedia content, including films, music, and digital publications, directly from their mobile devices, tablets, and laptops. The system offers a selection of feature films and documentaries about Turkmenistan, a diverse range of musical compositions across various genres, and electronic press.
This project is an extension of a similar system already successfully deployed on board the national air carrier's aircraft, which provides a high level of digital comfort on international flights.
Future plans include expanding the platform's functionality and regularly updating its media library.
