Radia is actively advancing the WindRunner project, a unique, ultra-large aircraft designed for transporting massive cargo. Ahead of the Paris Air Show, Radia finalized agreements with five new industrial partners from Spain, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and the United States, bringing the release of this aerial giant closer to fruition.

The WindRunner is set to become a record-breaker in terms of both volume (nearly 8,000 cubic meters) and payload capacity (exceeding 70 metric tons). Its pivotal feature is its capability to land on unprepared dirt runways approximately 2 kilometers in length, which will enable the delivery of cargo to remote and challenging regions.

The new partners include: Aciturri (tail section), Akaer (cockpit), Astronautics (controls), Element (fuel solutions), and Ingenium (lift).

Radia is not merely creating an aircraft but rather a comprehensive logistics ecosystem poised to redefine the rules in the field of oversized cargo transportation. The WindRunner will be indispensable for the energy, aerospace, military, and emergency services sectors, ensuring direct delivery of large equipment without the necessity of constructing airfields.
