Turkmenistan ranks among top three importers of Uzbek apples

In the first four months of 2025, Uzbekistan significantly increased its apple exports, reaching a total value of $3 million, according to data from the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics.

From January to April, 4,727 tons of apples were dispatched abroad, with the CIS countries serving as the primary markets. Turkmenistan secured the third position in terms of imported volumes of Uzbek apples, purchasing 167 tons of the produce.

The largest export volumes were directed to:

Russia — 2,840 tons

Kazakhstan — 1,564 tons

Turkmenistan — 167 tons

Kyrgyzstan — 102 tons

Other countries — 54 tons
