Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov awarded with the Order of Alexander Nevsky
According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, during a telephone conversation between the President of Turkmenistan and the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin heartily congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 60th anniversary and noted that he signed the decree on awarding the Turkmen leader with the high state award of the Russian Federation - the Order of Alexander Nevsky. The RF high state award was conferred to the Turkmen leader for his “great contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership relations between the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan”. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited Vladimir Putin to take part in the opening ceremony of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which will take place in Ashgabat on September 17.
