The Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University expands cooperation with China
The Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University is actively developing its cooperation with educational institutions in China. In 2023, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the China University of Petroleum in Beijing, which provides for the joint organization of Chinese language training and professional development for teachers.
Recently, university representatives met with a delegation from the Center for International Language Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China to discuss further expanding their collaboration. During the meeting, the Chinese side offered methodological assistance in teaching the Chinese language, implementing innovative teaching methods, and using advanced educational technologies.
As part of the visit, the delegation also toured the university's Faculty of Oil and Gas and familiarized themselves with the work of the languages department. This cooperation helps strengthen educational ties between the two countries and aligns with Turkmenistan's strategy for developing its fuel and energy sector.
