Rashid Meredov met with the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar
As part of his visit to Doha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met on September 15 with Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
Meredov conveyed greetings to the Qatari side from President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The ministers discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.
Rashid Meredov is in Doha on September 14-15 to participate in an extraordinary meeting of the foreign ministers of the member states of the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, as well as in an emergency Arab-Islamic summit.
Turkmenistan expressed its official position in connection with the events that took place in Qatar, emphasizing the inadmissibility of the use of force to resolve international disputes, which contradicts the principles of the UN Charter and the generally recognized principles of international law.
