Korean Culture Week to Be Held in Ashgabat

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan has prepared a vibrant cultural event for the residents and guests of the capital — Korean Culture Week. It will take place on October 3 at the “Arkach” Shopping and Entertainment Center.

Guests will enjoy a rich program: calligraphy workshops where anyone can write their name in the Korean alphabet — Hangul; a themed photo zone “Journey to Korea”; as well as an introduction to the traditions, art, and cultural heritage of this country.

According to the organizers, the purpose of the event is to strengthen cultural ties between the peoples of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea.

The event is scheduled to start at 17:00. Admission is free for all visitors.
