OpenAI: Elon Musk Introduced Grok Imagine 0.9 for Ultra-Fast AI Video Generation
Elon Musk has unveiled a major update to his AI-driven video generation platform — Grok Imagine 0.9. The new release is designed to dramatically accelerate the creation process and enhance the realism of generated content, intensifying competition in the artificial intelligence field following the recent release of OpenAI Sora 2 on September 30.
Musk emphasized that the latest version of Grok Imagine enables near-instant generation of both images and videos based on text prompts.
According to Mint, which tested the new AI system:
• Video generation takes only around 15 seconds.
• Image creation is virtually instantaneous.
• The resulting clips feature high resolution, remarkable realism, and impressive detail quality.
In addition to improved video performance, Musk introduced a new voice interface for Grok. Users can activate the “Open App in Voice Mode” feature in the app settings, allowing them to interact with the application via voice commands — without the need for typing. This function is intended to make user interaction faster, smoother, and more intuitive.
