Serdar Berdimuhamedov is Awarded the Honorary Title "Honored Architect of Turkmenistan"
By the Resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan dated October 8, 2025, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded the honorary title "Türkmenistanyň at gazanan arhitektory" (Honored Architect of Turkmenistan).
The awarding of the title, timed to Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers' Day, recognizes the head of state's exceptional achievements not only in the development of medicine but also in elevating urban development to a high level.
The Resolution emphasizes that the President's achievements are linked to ensuring that all medical facilities under construction meet high architectural standards and cutting-edge engineering practices. This reflects the state's unique approach, where concern for human health is inextricably linked with innovation in urban development, including in the region's first "smart" city of Arkadag.
The Mejlis noted the President's tremendous efforts in successfully implementing the "Saglyk" State Program, which has created a modern, scientifically based healthcare system, the international recognition of the country's achievements by the World Health Organization (WHO), and the construction of a complex of architecturally distinguished facilities, including the International Physiology Center and numerous multidisciplinary hospitals throughout the country.
Amid the ongoing construction of such facilities as the International Pediatrics Center, the Oncology Center, and the Dental Center in Ashgabat, the awarding of this title affirms the priority of architectural quality in social policy.
Addressing the meeting participants, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that he views the award as a sign of great respect and pledges to continue to work diligently for the prosperity of the Motherland.
