Turkmenistan and Japan Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

On October 9, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan, Hiroshi Sasaki, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.
The parties noted the high level of development in Turkmen-Japanese relations across political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
During the meeting, they discussed opportunities to expand cooperation within international organizations, including the United Nations.
The diplomats confirmed their mutual interest in further developing the partnership in all areas of shared interest between the two countries.
