Microsoft is currently developing the next generation of its gaming console, tentatively named Xbox 2027. According to insider Moore’s Law is Dead, the new device will be a revolutionary hybrid, combining the compact form factor of a console with the power and openness of a full-fledged gaming PC.

In terms of performance, Xbox 2027 is expected to significantly surpass its competitors. The system will be powered by a high-performance AMD chip (RDNA 5 architecture) featuring 11 CPU cores and advanced graphics. The console will also include a dedicated XDNA 3 neural processor and up to 48 GB of fast GDDR7 memory.

The key innovation is its open gaming system. Microsoft plans to allow users to install games not only from its own store but also from popular platforms such as Steam and Epic Games Store. This will make the console a universal platform for all existing games.

Given its high-end hardware, the Xbox 2027 will be priced between $800 and $1200. Microsoft will position the device as a premium gaming PC in a compact form factor, designed for enthusiasts and the most demanding gamers.
