The world’s largest aviation, space, and technology festival, TEKNOFEST, has announced the location and dates for 2026. The major event will be held in one of the world’s oldest cities — Şanlıurfa — from September 30 to October 4.

The forum is traditionally organized by the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3) and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye. The choice of location is symbolic: the organizers aim to combine the region’s rich historical heritage with future innovations and the potential of youth.

What Awaits Participants and Visitors?

TEKNOFEST is not just an exhibition, but a vast ecosystem aimed at developing national technologies. The 2026 program includes:

• Technology Competitions: Contests across dozens of categories — from artificial intelligence and drones to energy and agritech.

• Spectacular Shows: Thrilling aviation displays, simulators, and virtual reality zones.

• Education and Leisure: Planetariums, scientific workshops for children, defense industry exhibitions, and concerts.

Highlights of 2025

Last year was historic for TEKNOFEST — three festivals were held simultaneously. The venues were the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (Ercan Airport), Istanbul Shipyard Command (Blue Homeland project), and Istanbul Atatürk Airport.

The upcoming festival in Şanlıurfa will continue the mission of the “National Technological Leap,” bringing together government institutions, the private sector, and the academic community to support young talents.
