The Embassy of the United Kingdom in Turkmenistan reports that, alongside London Tech Week, the AI Summit 2026 will take place in the British capital on 10–11 June 2026.

The Summit will serve as a key international platform for discussing cutting-edge developments and the practical application of artificial intelligence in public administration, industry, and the social sphere. The agenda will address issues related to the implementation of AI technologies, industry regulation, as well as their impact on economic and social development.

According to the Embassy, the United Kingdom holds one of the leading positions in the global artificial intelligence industry. The country is the third-largest AI market in the world after the United States and China. As of 2024, the value of the UK’s artificial intelligence sector was estimated at 92 billion US dollars, exceeding that of any other European country.

Currently, more than 3,700 companies operate in the AI sector in the United Kingdom, employing over 60,000 specialists. The industry’s contribution to the national economy amounts to approximately £3.7 billion, while the combined market value of British technology companies has reached 1 trillion US dollars. This confirms the UK’s status as one of the global leaders in high technology.

As emphasized, hosting the AI Summit is of significant interest to both public and private institutions of Turkmenistan in the context of advancing digital transformation and implementing innovative solutions.
