Sony Group has developed a system for analyzing music created by artificial intelligence. The new tool identifies which specific songs were used to train the AI and what portion of the work has een borrowedb. This solution is aimed at combating the copying of styles, arrangements, and even the voices of famous performers. The program from Sony provides the analysis result in exact percentages.

For example, the system can reveal that 30% of a track's musical foundation is similar to the work of The Beatles, and another 10% is based on hits by the band Queen. If authors do not voluntarily provide data, Sony's AI conducts an independent check.

As the largest music publisher, Sony seeks to protect its rights. If the check proves plagiarism, creators of AI-generated content will have to pay licensing fees.

In parallel, Sony has implemented protection that prohibits neural networks from copying the company's graphic images and brands. For the market, this means a transition to fairer and more transparent rules of the game.

The launch date for the system for public access is currently under discussion. However, the technological foundation for controlling AI-generated music is already ready and will soon change the approach to content creation.
