On April 22, a meeting was held between Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Guwanch Agajanov and the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan Gismet Gozalov.

During the meeting, the important role of mutual visits and high-level contacts in the development of bilateral relations was emphasized. The significance of further expanding strategic partnership and fraternal ties between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan was also noted, particularly the strengthening of effective and practical cooperation in the energy sector.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in the economic and energy sectors, with a special focus on the oil and gas industry.
