On October 6, Turkmenistan marks a mournful date - Day of Remembrance of the victims of the Ashgabat earthquake of 1948, as well as the heroes who died on the battlefields of all wars. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the mourning ceremony of laying flowers at the monuments of the Memorial Complex "Halk hakydasy"

October 9-12, Turkmenistan will hold openings of new healthcare facilities. These days, Ashgabat will host the ceremonial opening of the International Scientific and Clinical Physiology Center and the International Health and Rehabilitation Center, Turkmenabat - a glycyrrhizic acid production facility, and Mary region - administrative buildings of the regional and city sanitary and epidemiological services

Three oncological hospitals will be built in Turkmenistan: in Balkan and Lebap regions for 150 beds each, and in Mary region for 200 beds.

On 4 October, representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in the Central Asian Women's Dialogue forum held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

The collection of poems by Makhtumkuli Fragi has been translated into Kyrgyz. The book presentation took place on October 3 in Bishkek as part of the scientific and practical conference "300 Years of the Classic of Eastern Poetry Makhtumkuli Fragi." The event was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kyrgyz Republic, N. Golliyev.
