Eight exhibition halls, 5 days, Greater Bay Area innovations and preparation for the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in November
As reported by CCTV+, the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair opened in Shenzhen. The five-day event attracted 6,312 participants online and offline. They showcased over 120,000 cultural products.
The Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center houses eight exhibition halls. One of them is dedicated to cultural industry innovations in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
This year, for the first time, a special exhibition zone has been created for APEC economies. It showcases the Asia-Pacific region’s achievements in cultural tourism. Also on display are the region’s signature products, creative cultural goods inspired by intangible cultural heritage, and regional delicacies.
In November, Shenzhen will host the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting.
Founded in 2004, the fair has become a leading cultural event in China and an important platform for promoting Chinese culture around the world.
6,312 participants. 120,000 products. 8 halls. 5 days. The Shenzhen Cultural Industries Fair is not just a marketplace. It is a bridge. Between China and the world, between tradition and modernity, between culture and economy. This year — also an APEC zone. Because in November, leaders will come here. But for now, ideas, products and people are arriving. The question is not how many countries are participating. The question is how many cultures will manage to become friends during these five days. While they trade and admire, the world becomes a little closer. And a little more understandable.
