China's railway system had handled a total of 407 million passenger trips as the Spring Festival travel rush reached its 30th day on Tuesday, according to data from China State Railway Group.

On Tuesday alone, the system handled 10.7 million passenger trips, with 743 additional passenger trains scheduled.

Lasting for 40 days, the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush started on Feb 2 and is expected to continue until March 13.
