The China-Europe freight rail service completed 3,501 train trips in the first two months this year, rising 32 percent year on year, latest official data showed on Thursday.

The trains transported over 352,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of goods, up 25 percent year on year.

All the 14 national assembly centers established in the country to optimize China-Europe freight train network strengthened monitoring of the entire transportation process during the Spring Festival holiday in February, ensuring non-stop operations in the period.
