Central Asian Foreign Ministers to meet with Japanese Prime Minister on December 23

On November 24, Tokyo hosted the first meeting of the Japanese-Central Asian Parliamentary Friendship League, consisting of members of the Liberal Democratic Party. The parliamentary group headed by the vice-president of the ruling party of Japan, Taro Aso, was created to strengthen ties with five countries of the Central Asian region: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the Asahi newspaper writes.
