Today, November 11, Deputy Minister of Education A. Ataev met with the Director of the British Consulate in Tashkent Denisa Waddingham at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. The parties discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of education, including the introduction of new teaching methods and development of English-language programs in educational institutions of Turkmenistan, the press service of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan reports.
From November 5-7, an international seminar titled “Improving the System of Recognizing Non-formal Education and Independently Acquired Skills” was held in Lyon, France. T. Gulamov, Head of the Department of Accreditation and Recognition of Foreign Educational Documents of Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Education, participated in the event. Organized by the European Training Foundation (ETF) and the French AFPA agency, the event provided an opportunity for sharing various countries' experiences in recognizing non-formal education.
4th November in 2024 year the official opening of the Czech Universities Fair took place at the Turkmenistan Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics, attracting significant interest from students and graduates of higher education institutions, as well as high school seniors in Turkmenistan. On October 31st and November 1st, the Minsk State Linguistic University hosted an international youth scientific conference titled “Мир и толерантность через изучение языков и гражданское образование” (Peace and Tolerance through Language Learning and Civic Education). From October 27 to November 1, 2024, significant educational events organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) took place in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan. The events included the 3rd International Teachers’ Conference, the 2nd International School Festival, and the 1st Climate School. Delegations from nine countries, including Turkmenistan, participated in the events, where participants actively discussed the environmental agenda and the role of education in sustainable development
At the international conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2024" in Ashgabat, Irina Luryeva, head of the laboratory of the Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas of the State Corporation "Turkmengas", made an interesting presentation.
