All matches will be held at the stadiums approved by the Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FFT), in Ashgabat, Turkmenbashi and Annau and will be broadcasted live on the state-run Turkmenistan Sports Channel.
The upcoming championship will be a serious exam for graduates of the judicial school of the FFT. As ORIENT has already reported, in January of this year, the Football Federation of Turkmenistan launched courses for young judges, which are taught by AFK instructor Vadim Baratov. It is assumed that the first graduates will be gradually involved to judge the League matches.
The competition regulations also included a clause under which the club, which sent three or more players to the national teams of Turkmenistan to participate in official international matches, has the right to postpone the calendar games of the League upon the written request of the applicant.
The main favorites to win remain the same. Kopetdag team, the current country’s champion and the first winner of Turkmenistan Futsal 2019 Super Cup, has serious plans to double the success.
In addition, the teams of Migration, Denizchi, Talyp Sporty and Nesil have an optimistic point of view for the new season. The chances of the rest of the teams, starting from the sixth position and up to the last line of the tournament table, look more or less equal in the battle to win a decent place as per their level.
However, football is football, especially amateur football, where the romantics of the leather ball of even the weakest team, despite the high ranks of the opponent, are always ready to die in the last ditch in order to feel the alluring and inexpressibly sweet taste of a long-awaited victory.
