Serdar Azmoun may move from German Bayer to French Marseille

According to the source, negotiations on the transfer of the 28-year-old forward, who has a contract with the Leverkusen club until 2027, were initiated by the former sports director of Zenit, Javier Ribalta, who now holds a similar position at Marseille. The amount of a possible transfer is estimated at 10 million euros.
Azmoun has made 13 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen this season, scoring two assists.
On account of the forward 62 goals and 17 assists in 104 matches for the "blue-white-blue". As part of Zenit, Azmun won three national championship titles, a Cup and two Russian Super Cups. The forward became the top scorer of the 2019/20 season and the best player of the 2020/21 season according to the Russian Football Union. In Russia, Azmun also played for Rubin Kazan and Rostov.
