The Days of Russian Culture are planned to be held in Turkmenistan in October, and events are planned to be organized in the cities of Ashgabat and Dashoguz. This was reported by TASS from the words of the Turkmen ambassador in Moscow Esen Aydogdiyev.

“A very important event is the joint organization of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Russia and [Days of Culture] Russia in Turkmenistan. We can already announce that at the end of this year, in October, it is planned to hold Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan. We are confident that they will be held with great success, we are waiting for a solid delegation of the Russian Federation representing various cultural areas. <…> Initial plans include a visit by [the Russian delegation] and holding Cultural Days in Ashgabat and Dashoguz,” the publication quotes the diplomat.

The Ambassador also said that the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation are planned to be held next year.

Earlier it was reported that within the framework of the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation, not only performances of musical and dance groups will be held, but also meetings with cinematographers, composers, artists, sculptors, librarians, museologists of Turkmenistan and Russia.

Also, on October 11, Ashgabat will host a forum of heads of state and government dedicated to the 300 th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy.
