Oriented on making people closer

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Russian Federation Momcilo Babic, during a meeting with Turkmen Ambassador in Moscow Esen Aydogdiev on Friday, April 12, announced his intention to facilitate the organization of the translation of the works of Magtymguly Frag into Serbian on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the outstanding classic of Turkmen literature.

The diplomats exchanged views on the progress of bilateral cooperation and touched upon issues related to the intensification of interaction between friendly states.

The existing mutual understanding between Turkmenistan and Serbia in the international arena, primarily in the UN, was stated. Esen Aydogdiev expressed gratitude for Serbia’s co-sponsorship of the draft resolution of the UN General Assembly initiated by Turkmenistan declaring 2025 the “International Year of Peace and Trust.”

It was noted that relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Serbia are developing consistently, respectful, equal in nature, and have great potential, including in such areas as economics, trade, investment, cultural and humanitarian sphere, according to the website of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.
