Ashgabat proposed to Buenos Aires to hold a Turkmen-Argentine business forum
On 3 October, the third round of political consultations between Turkmenistan and the Argentine Republic at the level of heads of departments of the foreign ministries of the two countries was held in the videoconference format.
During the meeting, the sides assessed the current state and analyzed the prospects for cooperation in key areas such as trade, economy, education, culture, and tourism.
Readiness to continue cooperation within the framework of international organizations such as the UN and to maintain an open dialogue to explore new directions was confirmed, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the consultations, the sides also discussed cultural exchange, including the possibility of organizing joint events and programs to strengthen ties between the peoples of both countries.
The Turkmen side proposed to hold the next round of political consultations, as well as to organize a Turkmen-Argentine business forum in 2025 in Ashgabat. At the same time, it was proposed to enhance inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
The above-mentioned proposals received a positive response from the delegation of the Argentine Republic, the diplomatic department added.
