For the first time: Starship flight in all its glory in 4K format
10.05.2025 | 18:30 |The company SpaceX is preparing for a new test flight of its reusable Starship rocket system. The launch, scheduled for the third ten-day period of May, will be the ninth in the series of tests and the first to be broadcast in ultra-high definition 4K. This was announced by the head of SpaceX, Elon Musk.
The upcoming flight will involve the prototypes Ship 35 and Super Heavy 14. The previous eight launches have allowed engineers to refine key technologies, including the successful landing of the first stage Super Heavy using the Mechazilla system. Despite the fact that Starship has twice encountered issues (vibrations and fuel leaks), the upcoming 4K broadcast promises viewers an unprecedented level of detail.
The introduction of 4K video support on the X platform in May 2025, which is part of a strategy to develop video content and compete with YouTube and TikTok, will ensure high-quality live streaming of space events.
