Garmin Unveils Fenix 8 Pro Smartwatch with Satellite Connectivity
07.09.2025 | 14:00 |Garmin has announced the Fenix 8 Pro smartwatch, which introduces a unique feature for the series — built-in satellite connectivity. Thanks to Garmin inReach technology, users can exchange messages via the Garmin Messenger app even when there is no cellular service. In emergency situations, the SOS function allows sending a signal to Garmin’s 24/7 response center.
The new model is available in two versions. The AMOLED display version offers up to 27 days of battery life, while the MicroLED model delivers an incredible brightness of 4,500 nits for perfect visibility in sunlight. In addition, both versions support LTE connectivity for calls, Garmin Pay for contactless payments, and a full suite of premium health-tracking features.
The smartwatch will go on sale on September 8, 2025, starting at $1,200 for the AMOLED version and $2,000 for the MicroLED model.
