Very soon, the International Year of Peace and Trust will come to an end, and the country will confidently enter the new year of 2026, held under the slogan “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds.” In this context, one of the most beloved and eagerly anticipated holidays — the New Year — is traditionally welcomed with special grandeur, joy, and inspiration.
Guided by the instructions of the Esteemed President and the Hero Arkadag, as in all corners of the country, extensive and comprehensive preparations have been carried out in the city of Arkadag to ensure a deserving celebration of the New Year festivities.
The lighting of the city’s main New Year tree has filled Arkadag with a special radiance and festive spirit. Buildings, streets, and park areas have glittered with multicolored lights, lending the city even greater beauty and charm. Exchanging heartfelt good wishes, people look to the future with hope, wishing the coming year to be fruitful and happy.
Since the illumination of the main New Year tree with the participation of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden, the surrounding area has been consistently filled with joyful laughter and the cheerful voices of children. Here one can see not only young residents, but also their parents and guests who have come to enjoy the festive atmosphere and the beauty of the modern city.
Our fellow citizens, strolling along streets and through parks while gently holding their little ones by the hand, seek to preserve these warm and bright moments by capturing them in photographs.
On the occasion of the New Year, a variety of festive events, vivid performances, and colorful concert programs are being held in the city of Arkadag. The celebrations unfold at the State Equestrian Circus named after Gorogly, the State Drama Theatre named after Aman Gulmammedov, the Library named after Dovletmammed Azady, the Local History Museum, the Art School named after Sahy Jepbarov of the City of Arkadag, as well as the Children’s School of Arts named after Shukur Bakhshi . May the new year of 2026, celebrated under the slogan “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds,” become a year of fulfilled cherished dreams for all our people, a year of creativity, confident progress forward, and new meaningful achievements!
