On February 10, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Turkish Trade Minister Ömer Bolat, which in itself served as a powerful political highlight for the opening of the Turkish Export Goods Exhibition in Ashgabat.
The dialogue between the President and the Minister highlighted important points defining the nature of cooperation in 2026. The head of state emphasized that Turkmenistan is focusing not simply on the purchase of goods, but on the implementation of advanced scientific achievements and the modernization of production.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov confirmed that the country is ready to consider specific proposals and support initiatives from Turkish businesses, particularly in high-tech manufacturing.
The current exhibition in Ashgabat logically continues the trend of expanding cooperation and increasing mutual trade. It's a two-way street.
The main outcome of the audience was the confirmation of the parties' readiness to "practically flesh out" the agreements. This means that new agreements, contracts, and joint projects can be expected from the business negotiations taking place on the sidelines of the exhibition.
