The Galkynysh National Equestrian Games Group presented its skills to an Azerbaijani audience for the first time. The performance of the Turkmen equestrians at the Bina Equestrian Center in Baku was more than just a show, but a cultural bridge between the two nations.
Our horsemen arrived in Baku as world-class triumphs. Most recently, in 2025, the group took home the highest award at the International Circus Arts Festival in Monte Carlo, confirming that the Turkmen school of equestrianism remains an unattainable pinnacle.

The program presented at the Bina Equestrian Center combined complex acrobatics with the historical connection between man and horse. Spectators witnessed Galkynysh's signature style: virtuoso stunts at full gallop, impeccable synchronicity and agility of the riders, and the beauty of the legendary Akhal-Teke horses.
Joining the main cast were masters of the State Circus of Turkmenistan and performers from the Gorogly State Equestrian Circus from the town of Arkadag. Their acts added a touch of contemporary circus aesthetics to the evening, while preserving a deep national identity.
The culmination of the performance was steeped in high diplomacy: riders carrying the national flags of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, to a storm of applause, recalled the unbreakable fraternal ties between the two peoples.

However, the visit was not limited to applause. An important outcome was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Association "Turkmen Atlary" and the Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan. This document lays the legal foundation for long-term cooperation in the fields of breeding, horse breeding, and professional sports.
