A working meeting held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov this Monday with 0the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Tangrykuly Atakhalliyev and regional governors focused on key stages of the spring agricultural campaign. The focus was on the readiness of equipment for cotton sowing, winter crop care, and the nationwide greening campaign.
The head of state discussed the progress of winter crop growth and preparations for cotton sowing with regional governors. Particular emphasis was placed on the scientific basis for each step—from land leveling to strict adherence to irrigation schedules. The President emphasized that the success of agricultural producers directly depends not only on efforts in the fields but also on the clarity of economic mechanisms, ordering strict oversight of the timely payment of tenant farmers.
Alongside agricultural projects, the regions are preparing for a major environmental event—the spring greening campaign. The upcoming nationwide tree-planting campaign is viewed not simply as a seasonal event, but as part of a long-term strategy to transform the country into a flourishing land.
Concluding the meeting, the head of state linked production and environmental plans to the upcoming National Spring Festival, ordering that high-level celebrations be ensured to reflect the unity and creative spirit of Turkmen society during these festive days.
