Rashid Meredov Held Talks with the Special Representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Central Asia
High-level diplomatic talks were held in Ashgabat on May 24 to discuss the current state and prospects of bilateral relations. Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a working meeting with Viktor Mayko, the Special Representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Relations with Central Asian Countries, who arrived in the Turkmen capital on a working visit.
During the meeting, the heads of diplomatic missions reviewed the current agenda, touching on key issues of cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.
The interlocutors reaffirmed Ashgabat and Kyiv's commitment to the continued systematic development of friendly ties both in the traditional bilateral format and within authoritative international organizations, primarily the United Nations.
