The creation of a Multilateral Platform for Preventive Management for the early warning of conflicts and the introduction of universal principles for data reliability were key practical proposals voiced by the Turkmen delegation in New York. Speaking at the high-level ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends of Global Governance, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov expressed deep gratitude to Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi for the invitation and officially pledged Ashgabat's full support for the Global Governance Initiative put forward by Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Turkmenistan views joining the Group of Friends as an authoritative and timely international platform for advancing these broad geopolitical concepts directly within the United Nations, with the goal of jointly addressing the most pressing challenges of our time.

The concrete action plan proposed by Ashgabat in New York is based on four interconnected pillars that constitute a unified system of responsible international cooperation. In addition to transitioning to preventive governance through the creation of a new monitoring platform, the Turkmen side placed particular emphasis on fundamentally strengthening the international legal framework, within which the country is actively promoting the UN's decision to declare 2028 the Year of International Law to renew a broad global dialogue.

The third key vector identified was comprehensive digitalization and the introduction of joint data verification mechanisms, which is critical for making informed management decisions at the global level. As a final aspect, the delegation of Turkmenistan highlighted the inclusiveness and practical implementation of all measures taken, emphasizing that the real effectiveness of the updated global governance architecture should be measured solely by its ability to address the specific problems of humanity on the basis of mutual trust.
