Khursand Imankuliev Won the WBC Eurasia Title by Knockout
Turkmen boxer Khursand Imankuliev won the WBC Eurasia championship belt with a convincing victory at the WBC Eurasia Boxing Night in Tashkent.
The title fight ended in the opening round. Imankuliev knocked out Tanzanian Adam Dacha to win his first professional title.
The fight took place in the welterweight division (up to 69.8 kg) at the Humo Arena on May 29. For the Turkmen athlete, this bout was the most important test of his professional career and resulted in a convincing victory.
Khursand Imankuliev is an international master of sports and a ten-time champion of Turkmenistan. He has represented the country at various world championships, the Asian Games, and other major international competitions.
The WBC Eurasia belt is part of the World Boxing Council (WBC), one of the leading professional boxing organizations in the world. The victory allowed the Turkmen athlete to take a significant step forward on the international stage.
