Faculty from the Turkmen Oil and Gas University Undergo Advanced Training in Beijing

On June 22, the China University of Petroleum in Beijing officially opened specialized advanced training courses for faculty from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas (IOGU). The educational project, organized by the joint Turkmen-Chinese Energy Training Center, aims to integrate cutting-edge scientific and technological advances into the educational process of specialized universities. The ceremony was attended by diplomats from the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China, the leadership and faculty of the Beijing University, and the Turkmen delegation visiting China.

During the opening ceremony, the parties highlighted strategic aspects of improving the quality of oil and gas education, scaling up academic exchange programs, and implementing joint research initiatives. The experts paid special attention to the successful operation of the "Lu Ban Workshop," opened in Ashgabat in April of this year during the visit of Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang to Turkmenistan. This venue has already become an effective platform for the transfer of innovative technologies.
Following the official part of the event, Turkmen diplomats and representatives of the Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry held a meeting with students from the China University of Petroleum, during which they introduced the young people to the key vectors of Turkmenistan's neutral foreign policy and the country's strategic objectives for 2026.
