Producers of export and import-substituting products in Turkmenistan can receive fringe benefits

Yesterday, at the session of the government, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Myradov reported on the new opportunities of financing of enterprises oriented to import-substituting production.
In addition, the information on beneficial banking services for local exporters as well on implementation of custom fees for certain production imported to Turkmenistan was presented.
The state programs to increase exports and create import-substituting industries are in force in Turkmenistan recently. Due to these programs, a number of enterprises have opened in the country, which are successfully developing foreign markets and manufacturing products that are highly appreciated by domestic consumers.
Additional state support for entrepreneurs engaged in such activities will accelerate the process of transition to a market economy. This is topical issue of today when many businessmen in the country already have some experience that will help them use the benefits wisely.
Soon domestic producers will move on to activities that are more complicated. For example, within next six months, “Aydin Gidjeler” Economic Society will begin assembling notebooks, the cases of which will be made of domestic polypropylene.
Preferential banking services will help entrepreneurs quickly reach the industrial scale in complex production. Considered customs duties on imported to Turkmenistan components will reduce the cost of domestic products, processing or assembly of which will be carried out within the country. Of course, it will decrease the cost of Turkmen goods, remaining their high quality.
