Embassy of India Invites Ashgabat Residents to Discover Indian Cinema
The Embassy of India in Ashgabat invites members of the Indian diaspora, as well as residents and guests of Ashgabat interested in Indian culture, to attend the Indian Film Festival, which will take place from August 14 to 16, 2026.
The event will provide an opportunity to explore Indian culture through the art of cinema and discover a diverse selection of Indian films reflecting the country's traditions, history, and contemporary life.
Screenings Will Be Held at Ashgabat Cinema
The festival will take place at Ashgabat Cinema, located at 115 Magtymguly Avenue, Ashgabat.
As part of the event, audiences will be able to attend special screenings of Indian films and take part in a cultural event aimed at strengthening friendly ties and promoting cultural exchange between India and Turkmenistan.
