Lighter, Tougher and Satellite-Connected: Garmin Launches Flagship fēnix 9 and 9 Pro Watches

Garmin has officially unveiled the new generation of its flagship sports smartwatches — the fēnix 9 and fēnix 9 Pro. The new models feature standalone satellite connectivity, brighter displays, a rugged body and extended battery life.
The main highlight of the Pro version is its lightweight and ultra-durable titanium case, used for the first time in the series. The watches are available in 43 mm, 47 mm and 51 mm sizes. Their displays are protected by sapphire glass, brightness has been doubled, and water resistance allows the watches to be used at depths of up to 40 meters.
For fans of extreme outdoor activities and travel, Garmin has added support for inReach satellite communication and LTE networks. Users can now send messages, make calls and transmit SOS signals directly from the watch, even in locations without cellular coverage or a smartphone. Maps now load 30% faster, while the built-in 64 GB of storage is enough for thousands of maps and music tracks.
The devices also offer impressive battery life: the standard fēnix 9 can operate for up to 29 days on a single charge, while the Pro version with a solar charging system can last up to 57 days.
