Tourists of Ashgabat will be offered "Health and inspiration"
The state tourist company "Ahalsyahat" has developed a new tour for the guests of the Turkmen capital in the days of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. In honor of the grand sports event, the tour was named "Health and Inspiration". It includes not only walks around Ashgabat and trips to historical and cultural monuments, but also visits to the Asian Games. The tour begins with the arrival and accommodation of travelers on the eve of the start of the Games, and the next day the guests will take part in the opening ceremony of the Games "Ashgabat 2017" in the Olympic town. The performance promises to be unforgettable. Every day the tour package holders can choose and visit two kinds of sporting competition in the arenas of the Asian Games. In addition, they are awaited by excursions to the most interesting places in the capital and the most popular attractions in the vicinity. The guests will see the residence of the Parthian kings - the legendary fortress of Nisa, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2007, as well as the heroic stronghold of Geokdepe, where they will visit the local museum of history. Among the most entertaining events is visiting the equestrian complex, where you can enjoy communication with amazing creatures - Ahalteke horses, see elite breed representatives, make horseback riding or learn how to properly bear the body in saddle. In the excursion program there is also the largest Muslim Mosque in Central Asia - the Spirituality Mosque in Kipchak. Then, from our times tourists will travel back centuries and visit the ancient sacred place - the ruins of the Seyyit Jemalledin mosque in Anau, built in the 15th century, but still impressive today. Why was it named "The house of Beauty"? And why did the two wriggling dragons, "azhdarkha", depicted in the manner of the Chinese tradition, appear on the portal of the mosque? All these issues, which have given rise to many parables, versions and hypotheses are remaining open yet... One of the morning trips outside the city will include a meeting with another legend of the region - the underground lake Kov-ata. This deep cave seems like a magical palace, where because of the dark rocks you can see the emerald waters, always warm and slightly bubbling. Swimming in this underground lake, it is impossible to shake off some mystical feeling that the stones around are alive, that under the water the bottom disappears ...
