Fountain in New Tashkent Has Entered the Guinness World Records Twice
The musical fountain built in New Tashkent has officially entered the Guinness World Records, setting two world records at once. The ceremonial certificates confirming the uniqueness of the facility were presented by Maggie Lo, an official Guinness World Records adjudicator. This was reported by Yuz.uz.
The first record was set in the category of the “Tallest outdoor musical fountain.” Its water jets reached a height of 232.69 metres, surpassing the previous world record by almost 28 metres. The previous record stood at 204.7 metres.
The second unique achievement was recorded in the category of the “Largest projection onto a circular water screen.” The area of the water projection screen amounted to 2,617.23 square metres, significantly exceeding the previous record of 2,400 square metres.
The new large-scale hydraulic complex is set to become one of the capital’s main landmarks and an attractive destination for residents and tourists.
