Consulate of Turkmenistan in Russia Holds Open Lesson at School in Astrakhan Region
On September 4, an open lesson organized by the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation was held at a secondary school in the village of Funtovo, Privolzhsky District, Astrakhan Region.
The event was attended by representatives of the Turkmen diplomatic corps, the school’s administration and teachers, students, as well as activists of the Astrakhan branch of the Humanitarian Association of the World Turkmens.
The meeting was dedicated to strengthening the traditional friendship between Turkmenistan and Russia. The diplomats spoke to the participants about Ashgabat’s peaceful foreign policy course and explained the socio-political significance of the upcoming session of the Halk Maslakhaty.
The open lesson concluded with a tour of the school museum named after Magtymguly Pyragy, where the guests viewed an exhibition dedicated to the history, traditions, and rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.
