Turkmenistan and the EU Align Positions During the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly
On September 21, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister Myakhri Byashimova and European Union Ambassador Luc Devigne.
The parties conducted a substantive review of the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation. A key topic of the discussions was the alignment of Ashgabat’s and Brussels’ priority positions regarding the ongoing 81st session of the UN General Assembly, as well as pressing issues on the international and regional agendas.
The meeting also addressed organizational aspects of joint events and the schedule for future interaction, both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international platforms.
The diplomats reaffirmed their mutual interest in the systematic continuation of constructive dialogue and the maintenance of regular working contacts across the entire spectrum of their partnership.
