The National Leader of the Turkmen People Sent Congratulations to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov
On behalf of the entire Turkmen people and the People's Council (Khalk Maslakhaty) of Turkmenistan, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the People's Council, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, sent congratulations to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of his birthday.
In his message, the Hero-Arkadag emphasized the special significance of this date, celebrated on the eve of the 35th anniversary of the Motherland's independence during a year held under the motto "Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses."
The message notes that the large-scale transformations led by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov are aimed at steadily raising the citizens' standard of living, strengthening sovereignty, and ensuring the country's socio-economic progress.
"Our ancestors, who laid an unshakable foundation for a school of patriotism, dedicated all their thoughts and efforts to achieving a great goal—a happy future. For you, filled with such immense love for the Motherland, the consolidation of our state's sovereignty and the assurance of a prosperous life for its citizens are paramount."
"The policy of humanism you successfully pursue and your unwavering belief in the realization of great visions are propelling our Motherland toward new heights and victories," the message states.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people highlighted the successful implementation of urban development policy and the expansion of modern infrastructure across the country, exemplified by the successful construction of the second phase of the smart city of Arkadag.
The congratulatory message placed special emphasis on the significant foreign policy achievements of Turkmenistan, which is grounded in the principles of positive neutrality and peaceful dialogue. On Ashgabat’s initiative, the UN General Assembly has adopted over 30 resolutions; notably, this year saw the adoption by consensus of new key documents regarding the role of neutrality in maintaining peace and designating 2028 as the "Year of International Law."
Among the landmark events on the diplomatic agenda, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the state visit of the Head of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea, participation in the inaugural "Central Asia – Republic of Korea" Summit, and international cultural and humanitarian events abroad, including the World Equestrian Championship in the Netherlands.
The Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty wished the President of Turkmenistan good health, a long life, and continued outstanding success in his vital state duties for the prosperity of the Motherland.
