British Youth and Expert Community eager to know more about Central Asia


Recently, University of Warwick hosted the forum under the title “Central Asia: Crossroads, Challenges and Change”.
The event was initiated by the Central Asia Forum, which was established by students, desiring to make connections between dynamically developing Central Asia and Great Britain.
The organizers said they were encouraged to host this dialogue by their time spent in Kyrgyzstan. The main aim of the forum is to raise awareness and spread the knowledge about this region.
The experts, researches from major British think tanks such as Chatham House and universities, such as University of Exeter, Lund University, journalists considered in their presentations wide range of issues ranging from security issues, political situation, energy policy to regional economic initiatives, culture, education, social life, contemporary art and revival of national identity in the countries.
Undoubtedly, the friendly atmosphere and wide lively exchanges of views, as well-question-answer format will contribute to better understanding of Central Asia among all those, who desire to open for themselves the rich world of Central Asia.
The University of Warwick, established in Coventry, England in 1965, is among the top ten universities in UK.
