Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Qatar Meets with the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs
Myratgeldi Seyitmammedov, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Doha, held a meeting with the Qatari Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Ghanem bin Shaheen bin Ghanem Al Ghanim.
During the conversation, the diplomat informed the Qatari side that the year 2026 in Turkmenistan is dedicated to the Akhal-Teke horse. The Ambassador emphasized that the rich history, spiritual values, and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people have long served as a solid foundation for their commitment to the principles of peace, humanism, mutual respect, and justice.
The two sides noted the progressive momentum of the partnership between Turkmenistan and Qatar, which is based on the principles of equality, trust, and mutual benefit. They held a substantive discussion on a wide range of cooperation, covering the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Particular attention was paid to the prospects for expanding interstate ties in the fields of science and education, as well as the implementation of joint humanitarian initiatives.
