Turkmen students - prize-winners of the All-Russian Olympics in the Russian language


Two young representatives of Turkmenistan became prizewinners of the VI All-Russian Olympics in the Russian language among foreign students of Russian universities, which was organized by the Association of Foreign Students and the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov.

These are a student of the Higher Engineering School of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University of M. V. Lomonosov Umit Khamraev, who took 3rd place in the category of third-year students of faculties of engineering, technology and science profiles, as well as a student of Penza State University Zarina Sattarkuliyeva, who also became the third in the category of students in the faculties of linguistic profile.
The Olympics was held at the Plekhanov Russian Economic University. Before that, there was a correspondence tour - online testing, where about 700 foreign students participated. And only 55 of them were invited to a full-time tour to Moscow.
The Olympics, which brought together students from Turkmenistan, Colombia, Japan, China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Azerbaijan and other countries, was held in two stages.
First, participants demonstrated their ability to write an essay about patriotism. And in the second stage we analyzed the text about the importance of the Russian language as a language of international and interethnic communication. Also, the organizers of the Olympics tested the skills of students to conduct discussions on various topics.
The winners of the All-Russian competition were awarded certificates, as well as memorable gifts - laptops, tablets, e-books.
